C-type hook is suitable for horizontal lifting of steel coil or wire rod, so it is widely used in steel mills, ports, pile plants, warehouses and other places.

The force balance of the C-type hook needs to fully consider the upward pull of the hook, the weight of the steel coil and the downward force of the spreader’s own weight, so the force of the steel coil should act on the center of the steel coil, and the self-gravity of the spreader should act on the center of gravity of the spreader. The weight should also consider the counterweight, and the counterweight makes the C-hook balance when it is unloaded. This requires the customer to report the size of the suspended steel coil (length and maximum diameter and aperture) when ordering, which is convenient to determine the length of the C-type hook and the opening of the hook mouth during production and manufacturing, and determine the location of the hook hanging point.
